2005

David Zapata (23), a sophomore, broke the school record for yards rushed (212-1,830) and touchdowns (23) in a single season during the Section Five, Class B Championship Game (Hornell vs. Pal-Mac). David went on to finish the season with a new school record of 282-2,236 yards rushed and 25 touchdowns. David became leading rusher in New York State for the 2005 season.

NYS Class B, Western Regional Awards (Hornell vs. Lackawanna), Fauver Stadium, University of Rochester, November 13: Defensive MVP - Ryan Dieter (32); Offensive MPV - David Zapata (23).

NYS Class B Semi-Final (Hornell vs. Chenango Forks), Carrier Dome, Syracuse University, November 19: Defensive MVP - Ryan Dieter (32), Offensive MPV - David Zapata.

 

 

 

 

 

 

2004

2004 Rochester Chapter of Certified Officials SPORTSMANSHIP AWARD for Livingston County League, was awarded to Hornell.

Section V, Class B Defensive Player of the Year: Chris Smith (27), Senior.

NYS Western Regional (Hornell vs. Southwestern), Ralph Wilson Stadium, Orchard Park, November 13: Outstanding Defensive Player - Josh Hoffman (34) - Junior.

NYS Semi-Final (Hornell vs. Chenango Forks), Carrier Dome, Syracuse University, November 19: Outstanding Defensive Player - Nick Boone (56) - Senior; Outstanding Offensive Player - Shawn Hillman (4) - Senior.
